Omg yes, they are the most divorced and married cats imaginal.
- Definitely a young first love kinda thing but if you were in your twenties when it happened… and in the middle of a political drama.
- Graystripe sneaking off, Tigerclaws scheming, Bluestar being on her last life, all of that was on Firehearts head so when Onewhiskers shows up, he can’t help but appreciate the distraction and no it wasn’t breaking the code cause they are “friends” at least in his eyes.
- Onewhisker was definitely more invested in this relationship while Fireheart treated it as more of a “fun” thing that was never meant to last especially after Gray’s romance crashed and burned.
- Either way, Onewhisker was someone who Fireheart could talk to about his problems and get away from it all.
- sneaking off late into the night to simply hang out and awkwardly flirt was a thrill they both relished.
- Over time they distanced themselves while still being friends not quiet a break up but if you asked them they wouldn’t be able to confirm or deny if they are still together.
- Fire becomes leader, becomes mates with Sandstorm and Onewhisker was okay (but also not really as he was basically lead on) as he saw it coming the way they are slowly going their separate ways like a dull ach that didn’t quite heal but it’s livable.
- Clans go to lake territory and it’s like back in the old days but more mature and genuine, they’re flirting, laughing, and Onewhiskers is reminded way he was so drawn to Firestar in the first place and he realises that his falling all over again and it seemed that Firestar was also feeling this way.
- and then Tallstars drops dead and names Onewhisker leader lol ruining any plans of having a half clan relationship with a married man 😔
- This time it’s Onestar pushing away from Firestar and it’s ironic karma. Aka divorce arc but this time fueled by the clans sensing their bubbling relationship and immediately speaking in outrage.

Morale is important. Hope is important. Small joys keep us from burning out completely in times like this. Do not let any “if you don’t reblog this I’m judging you” guilt trip convince you otherwise.

What was it he did? I cant miss an opportunity to drag Ross
So! First! He made out with Rachel while he was still dating Julie
THEN, he couldn’t decide which one he wanted to date more, so he kept dating Julie and didn’t tell Rachel anything about his decision after they had kissed
THEN he made a pros and cons list to decide whether or not to dump Julie so he could date Rachel and he wrote shit like: Too ditzy, too spoiled, too into her looks, not much in common since she’s just a waitress, and she has fat ankles
THEN, after he finally decided to dump Julie and be with Rachel, he tried to hide the list from her but she found it anyway and got rightfully pissed off
THEN he tried to make all sorts of excuses for the list without actually apologizing
THEN he ignored Rachel’s choice to be alone by CLIMBING UP THE SIDE OF THEIR BUILDING INTO THEIR FUCKING BALCONY to try and force her to listen to him read her “Pro-list”
THEN he gets his other friends to let him into the house after Rachel makes it clear that she doesn’t want to see him by going into her room
THEN Rachel tries to explain to him why she’s so hurt by the list by telling him that all the things he wrote on the list were things she actually hates about herself and it sucks he not only agrees with her but actually uses those things as reasons not to be with her
THEN he CONTINUES to try and make excuses for himself and even try to make her feel bad about being mad at him by turning the situation around by saying “If things were the other way around, there’s nothing you could write about me that would make me not want to be with you”
THEN, after Rachel makes it clear that she’s not interested in talking to him, he calls Monica and asks her to turn on the radio since he made a song request for her so he’s basically forcing Rachel to listen to him
SO IN CONCLUSION: He didn’t apologize ONE TIME for the list, he tried to manipulate Rachel into forgiving him by saying she’s overreacting, AND proceeded to ignore Rachel’s wishes for a little bit of space continuously

So whenever I decide to re-watch friends I keep a list going of all the reasons why Ross is a horrible person. I posted season 1′s list a while ago it ended up being like 4 pages long.
Can I just say I felt like I read what that radio host was told by Rachel

every conflict the Friends had to face was directly the cause of Ross
just saw an episode where chandler was trying to give joey money since he was struggling financially but joey was too proud to take it so chandler made up a gambling game where joey always won so chandler could give him money without him knowing. perfect example of two great Friends. then joey, confident with his skills in the game, goes to ross to play with him and loses it all to ross. joey tells chandler and he goes to ross and explains the situation and how the game was fake and asks for his money back but ross wouldn’t give it back. just one of the many examples of ross being a worthless piece of shit
I just watched the episode where Rachel hires a male nanny, Sandy, who is perfectly qualified and experienced. All of the friends love him including Joey who says that he is ‘learning so much’ from him. Except of course Ross who is a dick to Sandy the entire episode just because Ross doesn’t think being a nanny is a man’s job. Ross even went as far as to ask if he was gay in the job interview which I’m pretty sure is a big no-no. Ross eventually ends up firing Sandy purely because he’s a man in a female dominated job and because he thinks is too sensitive which is hilarious because the only sensitive one here is Ross and his fragile masculinity.
What about the one where Ross gets upset because his two year old son wants to play with a Barbie? He spends the entire episode trying to convince him that G.I. Joe is better.
How about the part where Rachel got a dream job in Paris, and fuckboy Ross who had treated Rachel like shit in the past, decided to try and win her back at the airport when he should have just let her go to her dream job.
I watched an episode where Ross and Rachel got trashed in Vegas and then went to the chapel and got married. When they came to Ross wouldn’t get an annulment because he didn’t want to be known as the guy who gets divorced. He is kind of awful.

Or the one where Ross yells at Rachel for dating Elizabeth’s dad because it’s “weird” for him but had no problem going out with Rachel’s sister, Jill, when Rachel had an issue with it.
Or how about the one where Rachel is having the time of her life at a job she loves, but insecure douche canoe Ross has a problem that she’s working with another man, and gives Rachel such a hard time about it, she decides she needs a break from their relationship
The show Friends actually invented the term ‘friendzone’ to describe Ross’ inability to show Rachel that he wanted to be with her (back at the start).
Wasn’t he also a dick to Monica about her weight? Not a cool guy.

Alrighty!
Basically, Smoke meets Princess after Onewhisker rejects her and Darkkit. Princess is like, “Oh, I can go talk to my brother! He’s a leader and he took in my kit, he’ll definitely take in Darkkit!” So they eventually convince Firestar,
since he’s a big pushover, to take in Darkkit. Smoke explains to him that he’s Onewhisker’s son and, still bitter, says that he rejected them because they’re kittypets. Firestar is shocked, but also doesn’t really believe it. His Onewhisker? His best friend? There’s no way he’d look down on kittypets that much. So he sends one of his warriors to fetch Onewhisker (he’s leader he can do that lol) and he meets up with him near Fourtrees with Darkkit.Onewhisker is pretty rightfully pissed when he finds out that Firestar brought his son (who he was truthfully trying to protect, but he’s too big of an ass to portray it correctly) into the forest against his wishes, and after a big fight they basically break their friendship. Firestar is unbelievably hurt because he’s under the assumption that Onewhisker just hates kittypets and it’s just a big awful misunderstanding that destroys their relationship.
Firestar takes Darkkit back to Thunderclan and Sandstorm takes him in with newborn Leafkit and Squirrelkit. He’s raised as their kit and Darkkit grows up knowing he was adopted, but not knowing who his birth parents are. He also grows up with a fear of Onewhisker and calls him the “bad cat” even though he doesn’t remember why he thinks he’s bad. Eventually, once he’s an apprentice, he questions his parents and they tell him that Onewhisker is his father. Darkpaw goes to confront Onewhisker, who basically slanders Smoke and Firestar and disowns him to his face this time.
After coming home and crying on his family’s shoulders he knows he doesn’t need Onewhisker in his life, and settles back into his role in Thunderclan. He takes it really hard when Squirrelpaw disappears for the journey and, like Shrewpaw, spends almost all of his extra time desperately trying to hunt for his family and the rest of the clan. He’s eventually captured by twolegs, but with what happened to Shrewpaw, the rest of the clan doesn’t know if he was actually captured or killed by one of the monsters.
This again sparks another fight with Onewhisker when he tries to blame Firestar for Darkpaw’s death, saying if he hadn’t brought him into the forest he’d still be alive. Firestar shuts that shit down real fast, Onewhisker has no right to give a shit either way, and that the final straw that destroyed their friendship. Darkpaw eventually escapes and makes his way back to the clans (though I’m not sure whether that would be before or after the LeafXCrow incident) where he reintegrates and eventually spends a lot of his time taking care of kits in the nursery (this is where he eventually meets and falls for Daisy). He’d definitely be super loving and protective of the three, as well as his sisters, and eventually gets close with Brambleclaw
once he gets his shit together(I’d also like to think Bramble was a nervous first time dad with the three and Darktail helped him ease into the role better).Anything after that is a little iffy, I’m still screwing around with how he would interact with/change certain events. But there you go! This is pretty much the majority of the Darktail AU!

with their parents being busy as leader and deputy, you CANNOT tell me that alderkit and sparkkit weren’t being babysat by aunt leafpool and big brothers lionblaze and jayfeather. after losing three of her kits, there’s no one else squirrelflight would rather leave them with. leafpool being the sweet and responsible aunt that spoils them, lionblaze being the one who’s always down to roughhouse and get into trouble with them, and jayfeather being the one who pretends he’s disinterested but in reality loves his little brother and sister more than anything. i can imagine how hard it would be for lion and jay after losing hollyleaf, and while nothing could ever replace their sister these tiny little kits helped to fill a hole in their heart (same with squirrelflight and leafpool).
lionblaze was 100% stoked to be a big brother while jayfeather, despite being fully grown, had spent his entire life being the youngest sibling of the family and was much more “://////” about them at first. but one day squirrelflight says “hey lionblaze is out on patrol and leafpool is gathering herbs, can you take care of them for a second?” and it’s all downhill from there. turns out, jayfeather is a fantastic babysitter. he spends the entire day teaching little alderkit about herbs (and YES he’s very interested in it!!) and letting sparkkit play with his tail. even his snarkiest comments get a laugh out of the littermates. when squirrelflight comes back from her patrol she finds the three of them curled up for a nap in the sunshine, sparkkit sprawled on top of jayfeather’s back and alderkit nestled snugly against his chest. jayfeather’s a lot less reluctant to watch his little siblings after that, and suddenly the grumpy medicine cat isn’t so scary to them any more.
leafpool absolutely spoils her new nieces and nephews. she’s always the first to bring alderkit a pretty flower or find a big feather for sparkkit to play with. squirrelflight gently chastises her sister time and time again. “you’re spoiling them,” she laughs. leafpool purrs and shakes her head before bringing them their latest plaything. she’s the first to bring her quiet, reserved nephew out of his shell, sitting and talking with him in the medicine den while the more rambunctious kits playfight. truly, his aunt is his best friend. one day the little ginger tom toddles up to her and quietly mews “can you tell me about hollyleaf?” leafpool pauses before smiling sadly and telling him stories of his big sister: how she journeyed all the way to the mountains as just an apprentice, how she cleverly learned to hunt and survive underground, and how bravely she fought and sacrificed herself in the great battle. alderkit, tucked against her flank, hangs on her every word, and at the end of her stories asks leafpool if she could take him to the moonpool to meet hollyleaf. leafpool smiles and purrs. “maybe one day.”
lionblaze, on the other hand, is far less reserved. squirrelflight finds herself scolding her oldest son like he’s an apprentice again for getting sparkkit and alderkit into mischief. does he ever learn his lesson? absolutely not. sparkkit absolutely ADORES him though, and she looks up to her big brother as her idol. he’s always up to give the little she-kit a badger ride or play mossball or sneak into bramblestar’s den to play leader and deputy (sparkkit is the leader, of course). even though he’s lost his power, lionblaze is still the greatest warrior the clans have ever seen in sparkkit’s eyes. “i wanna be just like you when i’m a grownup!” she squeaks joyfully one day, bouncing around him and swatting playfully at his tail. lionblaze doesn’t know why, but he very nearly becomes choked up after that and nuzzles her affectionately.
i just love this family a lot. they’ve been through so much, very nearly lost each other and were forced to go on without one of their dearest loved ones. they deserve to be a family again, and i like to think sparkkit and alderkit helped give them that chance.
